We have, once again, been recognised for our dedication to delivering a great customer experience by picking up a ‘Platinum’ grade award for its toilet facilities by the coveted ‘Loo of the Year Awards’ 2017.

This comes just weeks after we received a Green Apple Waste Management award for effective environmental projects.

We will now not only be attending an inaugural ceremony at the Houses of Parliament on 6 November to pick up our Green Apple Award for Waste Management, but we’ll also be at the esteemed ‘Loo of the Year Awards’ at St Johns Hotel in Solihull on 8 December, to be commended our excellent toilet facilities within the centre.

A panel of Loo of the Year inspectors judged a range of criteria – from signage and communication, to cleanliness, sanitary condition and accessibility. Earlier this year, we invested in our facilities, updating the overall appearance of all female, male and baby changing facilities, and ensuring the best possible accessibility.

Nicola Cormell, Centre Manager at Lower Precinct, said:

“We are delighted that our toilet facilities have been graded  ‘Platinum’ by the Loo of the Year judging panel. It’s great that our cleaning and operations teams have been recognized for their hard work in providing on site facilities that exceed customer expectations. This is the first time that we have put the centre forward for these awards, so to receive recognition the first time around is a real achievement.”
