Project Description

From Saturday 22 July – Sunday 3 September Lower Precinct will be inviting you to come and play for FREE at the Lower Precinct beach. As well as the beach, we will be hosting FREE activity every Monday – Saturday from 10am – 3pm!

On Mondays we’ll be inviting little ones to get creative in our themed arts and craft workshops.

Calling all little lions! Tuesdays will see the Lower Precinct Cubs Clubs take over the centre with appearances from the man himself, Lenny the Lion. Lenny will be roar-ing into the centre at 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

Wednesdays will be dedicated to our brand new charity partner Guide Dogs Coventry who will be promoting their My Guide initiative as well as blindfold walks and so much more! They might even bring some furry friends along with them too!

Is a beach even a beach without Punch and Judy? Little ones and grown-ups alike will be invited to pull up a pew and be transported to the seaside as Punch and Judy shows will be taking place at 12.30pm and 1.30pm every Thursday!

Always a favourite at the centre, Coventry Public Library will be bringing their popular reading corner and colouring workshops to the beach every Friday from 10am – 3pm!

Lower Precinct’s resident face painter will be transforming little ones into mermaids, turtles and starfish for FREE every Saturday 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm*

*Please note that our face painter is very popular and sometimes we have to stop the queue before the listed time to ensure everyone who has waited is seen.
