Lower Precinct has announced their charity of the year as ‘Young at Heart’

Young at Heart is a small local charity supporting all families under the care of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Cardiac Unit, we are a team of 10 volunteers, we have no paid staff. We support families whose children have heart conditions, many need numerous open heart surgeries and some needed the first within the first few day of being born. We support the families while in hospital and at home. We put on events and days out to bring the heart families together, so that the parents, heart child and siblings know they’re not alone

Keep an eye out for them fundraising at events in the shopping centre as well as being promoted via Lower Precinct’s website and social media channels. Lower Precinct retailers will also be encouraged to support our chosen charity should there be an opportunity to do so.
