Lower Precinct Shopping Centre is one of Coventry’s leading shopping destinations, comprising over 25% of the city centre’s retail stores. Welcoming around 200,000 shoppers each week, Lower Precinct is home to brands including H&M, New Look, River Island, The Entertainer, Pandora, F.Hinds, Clarks, Lush, O2, Caffe Nero and many more.
Our selected charity of the year is given the opportunity to fundraise at events in the shopping centre as well as being promoted via Lower Precinct’s website and social media channels. Lower Precinct retailers will also be encouraged to support our chosen charity should there be an opportunity to do so.
Young at Heart is a small local charity supporting all families under the care of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Cardiac Unit, we are a team of 10 volunteers, we have no paid staff. We support families whose children have heart conditions, many need numerous open heart surgeries and some needed the first within the first few day of being born.
Young at Heart support the families while in hospital and at home. Young at Heart put on events and days out to bring the heart families together, so that the parents, heart child and siblings know they’re not alone.
